Sarah Bureau has been a licensed dispensing Optician in Niagara, Ontario for more than 25 years. Sarah combines her love of eyewear with her background in the arts to showcase eyewear artisans from around the world. Sharing the eye gallery space are select works of art by some of Niagara’s finest artists. Art is at the forefront of every aspect of the bside space, showcasing eyewear made exclusively by independent artists and craftspeople. She is the woman behind sbspecs, Canada’s premiere eyeglass workshop specializing in repairing and customizing eyewear for Opticians and the general public all around the world. Her love for eyewear restoration and modification is evident in the care she puts into each project that crosses her workbench. Sarah is also a lecturer for the Opticians Association of Canada presenting continuing education for her peers across the country, and a regular columnist for Canada’s industry publication Optik Magazine.”
